To all out valued family and friends, clients and customers,
WOW.. Two years ago, I decided to take the plunge and venture out under my own banner, and so SOUTH EAST PROPERTY SALES AND MANAGEMENT was born. And boy on reflection I am amazed and humbled at how far we have come and what we have achieved. It’s been such a fabulous ride so far and I am grateful to have had several staff members join my team and enjoy the journey with me.
Recently we welcomed Amanda Thomas to our team to work alongside Michelle in Property Management, as our rent roll grows I want to ensure the professionalism our clients are accustomed to continues and every facet is running smoothly.
We have had our Admin Trainees and all of us have enjoyed watching them grow as they transition from year 12 Secondary School student and move into a fast-paced work environment where they are trained, challenged, learn tasks, and work to deadlines. Their input has been invaluable and hopefully by the end of December they understand the Real Estate business a little better than when they started and have learnt to engage with all walks of life and the importance of customer service, empathy, to use initiative and be set for the future as they embark on university studies and begin their journeys to their chosen careers.
The Community Funnel has been an initiative of ours that we are all passionate about. It is going really well and we are consistently on the lookout for opportunities to support organisations in our community financially, and love seeing local projects and events come to life and then completion. We welcome applications for events and ideas that you think we can assist in and will benefit our local community.
We recently received The Community Spirit Award at the annual MBCA awards night. What an absolute honour. We all pride ourselves on what we do and are passionate to see our town and community grow and prosper.
We are also thrilled to be a finalist in the REISA 2018 “Small Residential Agency” award category. It’s a privilege to be a finalist as it is very rare for Country Agencies to progress any further than the application and interview process.
I totally understand in business you are only as good as your staff and I know I have the best. We have together built a strong reputation on work ethic, communication and perpetual learning. This will continue as we work together to be innovative, listen to our peers and the community and implement new ideas in all facets of the business.
