We are excited to welcome Sian, our new administration trainee joining us for 2019.
Sian will be welcoming our clients at the front desk, as well as assisting the team in Property Management, Sales and Marketing throughout the year. She has a bright bubbly personality and is looking forward to the challenge of a busy office workplace and learning about the Real Estate Industry.
Sian completed her schooling at Kangaroo Inn Area School, achieving results which were of a high standard. She enjoys creative writing and was awarded an Andre Excellence in Literature Award in 2018. Over recent years, Sian has also worked locally in hospitality and volunteered with SA Ambulance Service as an Ambulance Assist Officer. After completing her traineeship with SEPSM, Sian has ambitions to attend university in 2020 to study Psychology.
We are looking forward to working with Sian and hope she enjoys her experience with us.

It's not very often that a small, country town agency is announced as a finalist for the Real Estate Institute of South Australia Awards.
A couple of months ago, we had the privilege of being announced as one of the REISA Awards finalists for the category of Real Estate Agency of the Year - Small, recognising the most outstanding real estate agencies in South Australia.
In mid-October, our team was spoilt with a trip to Adelaide to attend the awards. It quickly became noticeable that our Agency would have likely been the only agency within 200kms of metro Adelaide to be announced as a finalist. The achievement of being in the top 10 'small' real estate agencies in itself was humbling. However, to then discover that we were one of the only, if not the only, agency from regional Australia to have made it to this point was an incredible fete for anyone.

A couple of weeks ago, in mid August, we had the pleasure of attending the MBCA Business Awards.
It was a lovely night and was beatifully put together by the MBCA comittee and associations.
South East Property Sales and Management were nominated for the Service Award by our generous clients. Unfortunately we did not win this heavily contested catagory; however, the nomination in itself was a humbling gesture. The number of businesses nominated was a true testimate to the level of customer service that they provide to our community.
As the night had progressed, we were surpised with the announcement that South East Property Sales and Management had won the Community Spirit Award for 2018. This award was not open to nomiation from the public, and so we were unaware that we would receive such an accalade.

Thanks to Realestate.com and Advantage Community Grants we have been able to donate a $1500 community grant toward the up-and-coming Nature Play Area in the Millicent park-lands.
We look forward to seeing this area develop and progress into an unstructured and free outdoor play area for the public to enjoy.
We were super excited to deliver a $200 cheque to the lovely staff and children at Gladys Smith Early Learning Centre. The money will be put towards redeveloping one of their sandpits and purchasing a sludge pump!
It was a privilege to get a tour of the site, and witness and learn about the passion that the staff at Gladys Smith have for early childhood education - so much innovation!

We have bid farewell to our first trainee Abby Wight who has now completed her 12 month certificate III in Business. We welcome two new trainees’ in 2018 Madi Turner and Ellie Leopold.
Madi will be our new front desk smiling face greeting our clients. Having just completed year 12 at Tenison Woods College, Madi is looking forward to spending her gap year with South East Property Sales before attending university in 2019.
Also joining us a few days a week during her gap year is Ellie. Ellie completed her year 12 studies at Kangaroo Inn Area School, achieving very successful results. At South East Property Sales and Management, Ellie will be taking on a Project Manager/customer service role, with a focus on graphics and media. She also intends to study at university in 2019.
